Biography
Neil deGrasse Tyson was born in Manhattan, New York in 10/5/1958. His mom’s name is Sunchita Feliciano Tyson, and his dad’s name is Cyril deGrasse Tyson. Neil has a brother and a sister named Stephen Tyson and Lynn Tyson. He is married to Alice Young and has two kids named Travis Tyson and Miranda Tyson.
Neil deGrasse Tyson was nine years old when he started to enjoy astronomy after going to the sky theater in the Hayden Planetarium. He started to get famous in astronomy by giving lectures when he was fifteen. He went to Bronx High School and was the captain of his wrestling team in high school. The colleges Neil attended were Columbia University, The University of Texas at Austin, and Harvard College. He also wrestled when he was at Harvard.
